These terms cover your use of vtested.com. By signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
vtested lets you rate experiences with the Encore scorecard, keep a log, connect with friends, tag them in shared outings and compare ratings. The service is free and provided as is. We may change, pause or discontinue features at any time.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google account and must be at least 13 years old.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your Google account secure.
- Pick a handle that does not impersonate another person or organization.
Your content
You own the ratings, notes and other content you post. You give vtested permission to store, display and process that content to run the service, including showing it to the people your visibility settings allow and including it in aggregate scores. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from short-lived backup copies.
Ratings are opinions. Post your own honest experience.
What not to do
- Post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Post fake ratings, ratings you were paid for without saying so, or ratings meant to manipulate scores.
- Post other people’s private information.
- Spam friend requests or tags, or use the site to harass anyone.
- Try to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfere with the site, or scrape it with automated tools.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Catalog information
Names, images and details of pinball machines, movies, roller coasters and places come from outside sources (the Open Pinball Database, TMDB, Captain Coaster and Google Places) or from members. They belong to their respective owners, may be incomplete or out of date, and are shown for reference. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Privacy
How we handle your information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Ending your use
You can stop using vtested and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may end access for accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers and limits
vtested is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that scores, catalog details or other content are accurate. To the fullest extent the law allows, vtested and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $0, or the lowest amount the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will update the date above and note it on the site; continuing to use vtested after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: kprincell@gmail.com.
